My artistic practice exists at the confluence of digital photography and computational creation, where technology transcends its role as tool to become collaborator. As a decade-long member of the Photographic Society of America and participant in specialized photographic study groups, I’ve immersed myself in visual storytelling’s evolving language, exploring that critical threshold where human perception meets algorithmic interpretation. What began as experimentation with image manipulation has matured into a deliberate artistic investigation of machine vision, artificial intelligence, and human intention in meaning-making. My work examines the increasingly porous boundaries between identity, transformation, and the blurring distinction between organic and synthetic realities. The sale of my first computer-generated piece at a curated auction in 2024 marked a pivotal moment in this journey, validating my exploration of digital art’s expressive potential. The pieces submitted for this exhibition were crafted specifically to engage with humanity’s evolution alongside intelligent systems. Each work employs my signature approach to digital textures—where algorithmic patterns evoke emotional resonance—creating visual metaphors for our hybrid futures. These images go beyond aesthetics—they prototype new possibilities at the nexus of technology and human experience.
