This Creative Bite is dedicated to all the creatives around the world, essentially to all of you, whether you consider yourself creative or not. By default, as human beings, we are inherently creative, so let’s end this discussion for good. Thank you. (Mic drop).

I’m aware that the festive season is approaching in many countries and cultures, I know that 2024 is approaching us with the speed of light. I see many people writing and publishing their summaries of 2023 on social media, sharing their observations, achievements, and sometimes challenges.

I salute all of you for your time and energy spent reflecting on such topics and sharing them with us.

My heartfelt congratulations go out for all that you achieved and learned this year. From your personal messages, I understand that it hasn’t always been an easy or smooth year. Your resilience is truly inspiring.

There’s an expectation in the air for me to write and publish about my 2023, including achievements and challenges. However, I’ve decided to scrap that idea. Don’t get me wrong: I will reflect and write about 2023, as it’s a wonderful ritual to sit down and look back. I’m just not going to publish it, as I believe not everything belongs on social media, especially the deep dives into my soul.

Instead, I’ve decided to focus on something else in this Creative Bite. You see, wherever I travel, from large metropolitan cities to small towns at the (seemingly) end of the world, I observe and recognize again that…

we are all intrinsically the same.

We all have needs, ideas, hopes, wonders, fears, thoughts, and dreams. Each of us is uniquely different, yet exactly the same: beautiful and complex, sharing our humanity and our short time on this planet Earth under one sky. Another observation is that all our ways of living and being are equally important. All the truths are correct. This is especially visible when we view the world holistically, without letting our judgmental minds dictate how life should look. Each and every one of us is here to fulfill our purpose before the time comes for us to move on.

With the above ideas in mind, I wish you, for this festive season and beyond:

• A peaceful mind and heart.
• For all your dreams to come true.
• To find your North Star, if you haven’t yet.
• To continually exercise your creative muscle.

And whatever you wish for yourself, let it happen.

Allow the world to unfold before your eyes and bring out the best of (y)our humanity.
