Federico Ciacci (b. 1981, Rome) is an Italian painter whose practice delves into the liminal spaces between dream and reality, creating symbolic landscapes where subconscious visions emerge into form. His journey into painting began almost by chance, encouraged by friends and acquaintances who admired his early drawings and urged him to bring them to canvas.
As his engagement with the art world deepened, Ciacci refined his technique and artistic sensibility under the guidance of painter Giovanni Antoci, with whom he worked closely in a home studio setting. This formative mentorship helped him develop a personal style rooted in symbolism, fluidity, and emotional resonance.
In Ciacci’s work, dreamlike imagery intertwines with fragments of lived reality, giving rise to compositions that feel both intimate and universal. His paintings evoke the synaptic connections of the subconscious, capturing fleeting emotions and internal dialogues through ever-shifting figures and abstract forms. Each piece serves as an invitation to the viewer—an opening into a world where perception is fluid, boundaries are porous, and the seen and unseen coexist in delicate balance.
Through his evolving body of work, Federico Ciacci continues to explore the deep currents of human imagination, offering spaces for reflection, wonder, and emotional connection.
In my view of the future, humans and machines will merge more and more—but that’s gonna shake society to its core. Most jobs might end up being done by robots, completely changing the way we live and exist on this planet. It’s a wild mix of moral questions and tech breakthroughs, and there’s no way around it: evolution is happening, whether we’re ready or not.
