Sarah Lynn Dawson is a British filmmaker, actress, and storyteller whose work explores the intersection of humanity, technology, and the arts. Born in the scenic Lake District of England, she spent much of her childhood in Qatar, where her passion for storytelling was ignited. At the age of seven, Sarah took the stage in community theatre and began experimenting with filmmaking using her father’s video camera, laying the foundation for her career in creative expression.

After earning a BA Hons in Sociology from the University of Leeds, Sarah realized her true calling lay in the performing arts. She moved to the United States, where she trained at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Institute of Film and Television in New York, studying under renowned instructors such as Robert Castle and Paul Calderon. Her artistic journey continued in Los Angeles, where she was accepted into the BAFTA/LA Newcomers Program and became an observer at The Actors Studio, learning from luminaries such as Martin Landau.

Sarah has acted in numerous independent films and gained recognition for producing and starring in Unsolved, a 1940s film noir where she portrayed Alice Clark, the LAPD’s first female detective. The film was an official selection at multiple film festivals, showcasing her ability to bring compelling historical narratives to life. Her other notable works include Duality, a film she wrote, produced, and starred in, which was narrated by Deepak Chopra and premiered at the HollyShorts Film Festival.

Beyond filmmaking, Sarah is passionate about environmental advocacy and leveraging technology to shed light on critical issues.
