Creative activities influence your health

Research has shown that creative activities can help people who are battling chronic illness, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve their health and mood๐ŸŒค

On the other hand, loneliness and boredom๐ŸŒง increase the risk of depression and death.

We should take care of our mental health at every age!
Letโ€™s look at some creative things to do for our grandmas and grandpas ๐Ÿ‘ต๐Ÿ‘ด

Retiring is a perfect time to learn something new โ€“ itโ€™s never too late, and you finally have enough time for yourself. Learning is also a great way to keep the mind ACTIVE and prevent boredom.

๐ŸŒŸ There are many hobbies for seniors, even those with limited mobility: cooking, baking, birdwatching, knitting, crochet, gardening, playing music, or learning a language.
๐ŸŒŸ Drawing, coloring, painting, and sculpture? Why not? These are other great ways to be creative, and often they allow seniors to spend time together with other people in a senior club or workshops. Very precious.
๐ŸŒŸ Games and puzzles โ€“ do it in groups with visitors, one-on-one for quality time together, or solo โŒโญ•
๐ŸŒŸ Charity actions – older adults can give back so much to the community. Charity gives many people a sense of purpose and accomplishment, and itโ€™s another way not to be alone.

And what about your ideas?

๐Ÿ‘‰ Maybe, together, we can create a base of great activities for seniors, those who are fully mobile and those with limited mobility? ๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’ก๐Ÿ’ก
