How to be creative in the kitchen in winter? Is it even possible when the nights are so long and temperatures so low? 🥶 Of course, it is!
There are a few important rules to follow when you want to supply all the necessary nutrients your body needs. 🍅🥑🥜
Take your time in the morning and make sure you eat a warm breakfast – oatmeal with honey, fruit, and nuts; eggs (fried, scrambled, hard-boiled), even a slice of bread with jam will do if it’s accompanied by hot tea or coffee ☕️. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Make sure you have it before you start yours.
The foods that supply the key nutrients are:
🥚🍳 eggs – a rich source of selenium, vitamin D, B6, B12, and minerals such as zinc, iron, and copper.
🥜 nuts – an excellent source of unsaturated fatty acids but also magnesium, potassium, and phosphorus.
🐟 fish – contain omega-3 fatty acids
and fruits 🍍🥝 and veggies 🥦🍅, of course!
You can mix them any way you like.
