We work remotely. We move less. Gyms have been closed for months. Some have landed in quarantine. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t take care of our mental and physical health! How do we do that in the age of pandemics? It will surely require us to be more creative than in “normal times”.
Let’s give it a go! π₯ Here are a few tips: ‡
β Play movement games with your kids. Build an obstacle course at home or in your yard, crawl, jump, skip. Play FLOOR IS LAVA. π¨βπ§βπ§π
β Get your blood pumping by going up and down the stairs – stairs are a great exercise tool! πββ
β Play your favorite music and dance: your newly released endorphins will keep you company. π πΊ
β Do some thorough cleaning: dust the high shelves, clean the windows, tidy the cubbyhole or the attic. Do anything to move. ππ°π§Ήπ§½
β Follow online exercise classes: there’s a big choice now, and you can take an opportunity to learn something new β a new dance or a workout. πββ π§ββ
We are very curious about what you do to stay fit during lockdowns.
ππ²Please share your creative ideas with us! (Unfortunately) we might still need them for some time.
